Stephen cut my hair today and I absolutely love it!! He gave my hair some life back. He was kind, welcoming, easy to talk to, and did an amazing job. I'm excited to return to him in the future!

I love getting my hair done here. The stylist are amazing. I book with Stephen always getting my hair to snatch city!!! I will not be going anywhere else The salon overall is clean, well kept, and comes with snacks/ beverages! My forever happy place.

Ellie did an excellent job with my long, thick hair! She was incredibly sweet and clearly very experienced, and gave me an excellent head massage during my shampoo! I will definitely be returning. 🙂

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and Alaina’s professionalism and skill were evident throughout the entire process. My hair has never looked better! I highly recommend booking with her—she’s a true artist with a passion for what she does. Will definitely be back for my next cut! 10/10!

I have been following Jess and the crew at JCO for 6+ years now. Always a stellar experience and would highly recommend their services! They are attentive and knowledgeable with their clients… especially with me since I’m aways shuffling up my hair styles. I’ll include some of the styles throughout the years in my review. Had the most amazing experience at j&co with Brianna!! I got extensions and color with her and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She matched the hair color perfectly and blended it so well with the hair cut. She was super accommodating with my schedule to get me in as soon as possible. I couldn’t be happier with the result! 😊

I’ve been to Alaina very different services and she slayed the house down every time. She took me from years of dark brown permanent color back to a brilliant light brown with so much dimension and didn’t compromise the integrity of my hair in the slightest. This is a love note to Alaina, you rock girl. Thank you for making my hair goals dream become reality and being such a cool person to spend hours in a chair with. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I'm a long hair girl with long hair attachment problems lol. I needed a cut but was so nervous because I've had too much cut off in the past at other salons. Alaina was so kind and helped me choose a length I love. I haven't been happy with a haircut in such a long time. This will be my new place for sure.

Went to J&CO today for a haircut with Stephen! Just an overall lovely experience from start to finish! Stephen cut my hair exactly like I wanted and I left feeling like a million bucks! A+

I have been going to this salon for a few years and absolutely love it. Took me so long to find a stylist I love, but I am so glad I found Stephen! He always does such a wonderful job for me, and I feel like at this point, I barely need to tell him what I'm interested in - he just does it and nails it every time. My husband has also been going to Alaina, and she does an awesome job taming his curly/wavy, poofy hair.

I am new to the area and needed a new salon. I decided to go with Stephen and I am so happy I did! He was absolutely amazing! He made my vision a reality and was extremely accommodating when I wanted a small change to length. Overall, the entire atmosphere of the salon is welcoming! Highly recommend!

The whole salon is amazing! Great energy, real professionals. I get color/cut from Jess. My daughter gets cut/color from Stephen, but I would trust anyone at J&Co . I have referred many friends and they have all had positive experiences. If you are looking for a hair salon in bucktown, wicker park or west town, this is your place!

I had been looking for someone new to cut my hair for a while and found Alaina here. She's delivered great results on a few haircuts for me now, so I've got to give credit where it's due. Clean salon, good vibes and great people.

Alaina has been taking care of my hair for almost two years now and she kills it every time! She always makes sure that we’re on the same page and confirms before starting to chop. She’s really transformed my hair. The salon itself is lovely, always clean with fun music playing. They always offer beverages and snacks, and have a huge variety of products. Highly recommend if you are looking to try a new salon in the neighborhood!

Got my hair cut and colored by Brianna and couldn't be happier. She matched my color perfectly and was very detailed with my haircut and even curled it after. Super happy with it and very fair prices. Will continue to come back here!

This was my first time here after my SIL referred me to Stephen who has been cutting her hair for years. He is absolutely amazing - he knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen. Had the best experience ever here today. Just moved to Chicago and was needing a new place to get my hair done. I felt so heard, understood, and valued today. All my hair hopes were met beyond my expectations and it was the most relaxing and fun time 🙂 cannot recommended j & co enough!

Literally just finished chopping of 6 inches of my hair with Stephen. Had a wonderful experience! The salon was very nice and clean. Stephen did a wonderful job with my hair cut! My hair feels so nice and healthy now! All my split ends with split ends are now gone.

Alaina is FANTASTIC. She did both me and my partners hair, and it was flawless.

So I just got my hair done here and my experience was so awsome. Since it's been years and I mean years I totally for got to tip alaina and I am so sorry. I will definitely be back soon to do so. She is so great. And I promise you I dont want anyone else cutting my hair. I put total trust in her and she lived up to my expectations thank you j&co for a wonderful experience.

I went to see Alaina for the second time since the pandemic & she did not disappoint once again. She also cut my 8 year old daughters hair this time (which was her first time ever getting a professional haircut as I’ve always been the one to cut her hair at home). My daughter is soooo in love with her hair. She doesn’t stop telling me over and over “mommy I love my new haircut” lol. Alaina never cuts more than what I ask & always confirms again before she even makes the first cut. (Which is very nice & reassuring since I’ve had bad experiences with hairdressers cutting more than what I ask for). I even referred my sister to this salon (Alaina was unfortunately booked, but she was able to get an appt with Stephen for today) I told her that I saw him cut a clients hair yesterday and it turned out amazing as well… I reassured her that everyone in that salon has a great portfolio and she’ll leave satisfied no matter who she books with. Also the little dog who greets you is a bonus, such a cutie pie! I’d recommend this hair salon if you’re in the area or even if you’re up for a little drive for a happy haircut experience 🙂
